Serene Gurudongmar Tour

Gurudongmar Lake is one of the highest and most sacred lakes in the world, located at an altitude of about 17,800 feet in the northern part of Sikkim, near the Indo-Tibet border. Surrounded by snow-covered Himalayan peaks and pristine landscapes, the lake is renowned for its crystal-clear waters and breathtaking natural beauty. It is named after Guru Padmasambhava, also known as Guru Rinpoche, who is believed to have blessed the lake in the 8th century.
The lake holds deep religious significance for both Buddhists and Sikhs, and it remains a major spiritual and tourist attraction in Sikkim. Despite the harsh climatic conditions and high altitude, visitors are drawn to its serene atmosphere and panoramic views. A visit to Gurudongmar Lake offers not only scenic beauty but also a peaceful and unforgettable experience in the lap of the Himalayas.
